Supervision
The Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, and Mental Health Counseling requires Mental Health Counselor Interns to complete 1,500 hours of supervised therapy in no fewer than 100 days following completion of their graduate studies. A Qualified Supervisor must provide 1 supervision hour for every 15 hours of therapy provided by the intern.

Inspired Strength Counseling offers individual supervision services in a combined online and face-to-face format, as permitted by the Florida Board of Clinical Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, and Mental Health Counseling.
In person appointments are provided in Palm Beach County. Supervision includes attention to and guidance of the supervisee’s personal awareness with respect to the counseling relationship, counseling skills, and professional behaviors. This includes aspects such as increasing self-awareness, teaching relevant therapeutic techniques, and case conceptualization, diagnosing, and goal-setting.
